I believe that everyone has the power to heal themselves, I am simply a medium to make that accessible to you and your distinct abilities. I stand firm that every body is a yoga body – differently abled bodies, postpartum bodies, neurodivergent bodies - all are welcome here at Vaishnavi Yoga.
Healing at the intersection of yoga, cognitive neuroscience,
and mindfulness based psychology
In eastern medicine and philosophy, the body is not treated as separate from the mind and the soul. They are treated as one coexisting unit, which is why we can change our mind through tapping into bodily wisdom, why nourishing our soul makes us feel good mentally and physically.
I believe that in a multifaceted approach to healing. I guide people in simultaneously building an emotional toolkit while learning how to face and hold space for difficult emotions. Doing the mental work can be a difficult process and bring up intense emotions, so it is important to expand joy and peace in our lives to make space for those feelings to pass through.
My programs utilize mindfulness based psychology - primarily conversational coaching, somatic inquiry, and yoga in its complete form to deliver a positive healing experience. We approach healing through the mind, body, and soul.
Thank you for guiding and inspiring me to take care of myself. Your knowledge is so vast that you listened to me every time with patience and created a plan according to my needs. Your advice and suggestions were valuable to take care of myself. Vaishnavi, you held my hands every step of my way. I was always looking forward to your sessions as I was able to speak my mind. You never rushed through sessions and encouraged me always. You have changed me so much, I have no words to express. - Sangeeta M.
Bringing awareness to our patterns and behaviors is the catalyst to bring about growth and change in our lives.
An often overlooked step, acceptance can be a difficult practice, but essential for moving forward.
After we accept ourselves wholly, we can take the steps forward leading with love and kindness towards the self.

I remember clearly being drawn to yoga. At first it looked really fun and like good exercise. I wrangled up my mom and sister in law and we signed up for Vaishnavi's intro aerial class. Vaishnavi was so helpful and such a kind soul. She really made us feel comfortable and welcome even though we had no idea what we were doing. I decided after that class that I wanted to do the intro to yoga. She taught us how to ujjayi breathe, the importance of belly breathing and the basics like cat/cow and child’s pose. I continued taking classes and fell in love with yoga. The day I decided to try yoga was the day my life forever changed.
Use gravity to open your hips, promote lymphatic drainage, improve circulation, promote relaxation, provide a safe supported stretch for your legs and hips, eases lower back pain. This also teaches us receptivity and that sometimes less is more.
